The therapeutic farm approach has measurable benefits. The Global Assessment of Functioning measures (GAF), as adopted by Hopewell Farm show marked improvements for guests including reducing negative symptoms and increasing social functioning.



Other meaningful benefits impact a broader spectrum of stakeholders like the health service and insurers, freeing capacity in residential mental health facilities, reducing readmissions, and acting as an effective preventative measure for people with conditions that have the potential to become severe without effective multi-disciplinary treatments.

University Research

Kyrie Therapeutic Farm will be engaging with Universities to carry out continuous research on the benefits realized by guests of the farm.

The research will form an outcome evaluation and provide a level of quality control to the therapy provided. It will identify key learnings as to the most effective therapies and build on the already proven outcomes from the global community of Therapeutic Farms.
